Greetings, I’m Jebre Hawkins
Founder & Educator | Next Chapter Literacy & Learning Co., LLC

As a licensed elementary and ESOL specialist, I am dedicated to transforming children into self-assured, skilled readers and eloquent communicators. My career in the classroom has taught me that the right blend of bespoke guidance and genuine encouragement is the key to unlocking a student's academic potential and self-esteem.

To better serve my students, I am currently earning a Master’s degree in Curriculum & Instruction along with a Gifted Education Endorsement. These advanced studies refine my ability to cater to a wide spectrum of learning profiles, ensuring every child receives the specialized attention they deserve.

I established Next Chapter Literacy & Learning Co., LLC to offer K–5 students a nurturing space for growth. Here, literacy and language development go beyond standard schooling, focusing on the individual needs of each growing mind.

My Educational Philosophy

I recognize that no two educational paths are identical. My process begins with a deep dive into each child's specific talents and areas for growth to set clear, achievable success markers.

Utilizing focused small-group sessions and data-driven insights, I provide strategic intervention. This method not only sharpens core literacy abilities but also fosters the independence necessary for lifelong learning.

With my ESOL background, I celebrate the linguistic diversity of multilingual students. I treat their native languages and cultural backgrounds as assets, building upon them to develop the sophisticated English vocabulary and academic skills essential for school success.

Whether your child requires remedial support, academic support,  enrichment support, or language support, my commitment is to ensure they feel inspired and capable at every step.

The Purpose Behind Next Chapter

I envisioned a place where children could receive the focused mentorship that is often challenging to provide in crowded classrooms.

Next Chapter isn't just about finishing homework or bumping up a test score. It is about equipping students with lasting tools, helping them take pride in their progress, and instilling a resilient, positive attitude toward challenges.
